1. What this policy covers
This policy explains what information we collect from people who apply for a job with Prestige Detailing through this website, why we collect it, how we store it, and how long we keep it.
This site exists for one purpose: hiring. We do not sell products or services through it. If you are a detailing customer rather than a job applicant, this policy does not apply to you.
2. Who we are
Prestige Detailing LLC, operating as Prestige Detailing, a mobile detailing business serving the Rio Grande Valley, Texas.

3. Information we collect
You give us directly, through the application form:

We collect automatically while you use the form:
- An anonymous draft identifier stored in your browser
- Which step you reached and when you completed each step
- Device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop) and browser user-agent string
- Whether file uploads started, completed, or failed
- IP address and timestamps associated with your submission
We use this operational data to find and fix places where the application breaks, and to follow up with people who started but did not finish.
Your browser stores your answers as you go. The application saves your in-progress answers to your own device's local storage so you can leave and come back without losing your work. This copy is cleared from your device when you submit.
4. Why we collect it
We use your information only to:
- Evaluate whether you are a fit for an open position
- Contact you about your application, including by phone call and text message
- Confirm you are legally able to drive for work that requires driving
- Understand where applicants drop off so we can improve the application
- Keep records we are required or permitted by law to keep
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with advertisers, data brokers, marketing partners, or other employers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4a. Background checks
We do not currently run third-party background checks on applicants. The questions in this application about your driving record and criminal history are answered by you, and we take them as you give them.
We may begin using a background screening company in the future. If we do, we will not run a check on you without first giving you a separate written disclosure and obtaining your separate written authorization, as federal law requires. That step happens later in the hiring process, not on this application, and you will know about it before it happens.
5. What we do NOT do with your video or license photos
This matters, so it is stated plainly:
- We do not run facial recognition on your video or license photos.
- We do not extract or store face geometry, voiceprints, fingerprints, retina or iris scans, or any other biometric identifier.
- We do not use artificial intelligence to score, rank, analyze, or interpret your video, your voice, your facial expressions, or your body language.
- Your video is watched by a human being on our hiring team. That is its only use.
6. How your application is scored
Applications are scored by a fixed set of rules that we wrote, running on our server. The rules weigh things like your length of employment at previous jobs, your detailing experience, your stated availability, and whether you completed a video. No machine learning model or third-party scoring service is involved. A human reviews every candidate before any hiring decision is made.
Applicants do not receive their score.
7. Who can see your information

We may also share information if we sell or transfer the business, in which case the buyer would be bound by this policy.
8. How we protect it
- License photographs and video files are stored in private storage buckets, not publicly accessible URLs.
- Uploaded files are renamed to random identifiers, so filenames reveal nothing about you.
- Data is encrypted in transit.
- Admin access requires a verified login on an approved-account list.
- Login attempts and form submissions are rate-limited.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat your license images and video with at least the same care as our own confidential business records.
9. How long we keep it

10. Your choices
You may email sales@prestigedetailingrgv.com at any time to:
- Ask what we have on file for you
- Correct something you entered wrong
- Ask us to delete your application, video, and license images
- Withdraw your application
- Stop receiving calls or texts from us about your application
We will honor reasonable requests within 30 days, except where we are required to keep a record for legal reasons. Withdrawing or deleting your application means we can no longer consider you for a position.
Texas's consumer privacy law does not extend to information collected in a job-application context, so these are choices we offer you, not rights the state grants you. We honor them anyway.
11. Text messages and phone calls
By submitting the application — or by providing your phone number at any point in it — you agree that we may call and text you about your application, including if you start the application and do not finish it. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Opting out of texts does not withdraw your application.
12. Age
You must be 18 or older to apply. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted an application, email us and we will delete it.
13. Where we hire
We currently hire only within Hidalgo County, Texas, and the application is limited accordingly. This is a service-area limitation, not a comment on any applicant.
14. Security incidents
If your sensitive personal information — including your driver's license images — is accessed without authorization, we will notify you as required by Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 521, without unreasonable delay and no later than 60 days after we determine a breach occurred.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be emailed to affected applicants where we have a working address.
